Is Airstop an acknowledged travel agency?
Yes. Airstop is acknowledged by the Flanders tourism federation 'Toerisme Vlaanderen' under licence number A 1529. This means that we have competent sellers and that we are permitted to sell all travels from all Belgian touroperators and all airlines worldwide without restriction. We are also permitted to compose our own package tours and to organize travels.

How can I make a reservation with Airstop?
In most cases you will be able to make your reservation via this website. However, for further travel advice or for quite complicated reservations you can contact our call center on 070/233.188 or come to one of our offices in Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Bruges, Kortrijk, Leuven or Waver.

Is Airstop insured against insolvency?
Yes. Airstop has concluded an insurance against insolvency with the Travel Guarantee Fund. This Travel Guarantee Fund is your guarantee that you will not suffer any loss in case of failure of your tour operator or travel intermediary.

Is Airstop member of a professional organisation?
Yes, Airstop is member of VVR (Association of Flemish Travel Agents), the association that makes sure that professional standards are observed and that travel legislation is complied with.

Does Airstop apply the sales conditions of the Conciliation Board?
Yes, we do. When you are not satisfied with the Airstop service and we cannot come to an amicable agreement, you can file your complaint with the Conciliation Board.

$$Is Airstop hetzelfde als Taxistop?$$
Neen. Taxistop is de vzw Centrum voor Positieve Aanwending en is eigenlijk een beetje de moeder van Airstop. Taxistop houdt zich bezig met beter gebruik van bestaande middelen, vooral op het vlak van mobiliteit. Bekende projecten zijn het opvullen van lege plaatsen in auto's door carpooling en de internationale liftservice. In hetzelfde kader werden toen lege plaatsen in vliegtuigen opgevuld. Voor die activiteit werd dan in 1988 een nv opgericht : Sherpa oftwel Airstop. Ondertussen doet Airstop echter al heel wat meer dan de verkoop van last minutes!

Does Airstop only sell last-minutes?
No, Airstop is a full travel agency that can arrange all your travel wishes. Just take a look at our product page. For intricate travels or for very specific questions you'd better drop by in one of our offices as some consultation or extra explanation may be necessary.

What is this 070 telephone number?
When you call our 070 number your call is connected to our call center. Our computer will first ask you some questions (are you calling for an existing reservation, are you calling to know the available last minutes, etc. ). If the computer can answer your question, you will not have an operator on the line. If the computer cannot answer, you will be connected to the most appropriate operator. When all our lines are engaged, you will first be held in the Belgacom wait box before you are connected to our call center's voice computer.

Does Airstop have a IATA license?
Yes, Airstop is an acknowledged IATA-agent under licence number 08203230. This means that Airstop is authorized to issue tickets of the major airlines in the world, in accordance with the IATA regulations.
