  • Obelisco de Buenos Aires

    The obelisk was built in 1936 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the city. The monument stands on the Plaza de la Republica and is 67 meters high.

  • Congreso de la Nación Argentina

    The legislature of the government is located here since 1946. For its construction, the Italian architect Vittorio Meano was inspired by the American capitol.

  • La Casa Rosada

    The light pink palace is the official presidential residence and the headquarters of the Argentine government. From the balcony on the first floor Eva Peron spoke to the crowd.

  • La Boca

    The most colorful district of the city, with its colonies of artists and working class neighborhoods, is located along the Riachuelo river. The symbol of solidarity within this community is the Boca Juniors soccer team, the former club of Diego Maradona.

  • Caminito Street

    A colorful pedestrian area used as open-air museum and art market since 1959. Photogenic buildings, souvenirs, sculptures and many tango demonstrations.
