  • Wall Street

    The financial district located in Lower Manhattan. Central, the New York Stock Exchange, openend in 1871. In this narrow street, surrounded by huge skyscrapers, it is almost impossible for sunlight to hit the surface.

  • USS Intrepid

    After 30 years of service this huge aircraft carrier was last used in 1975. Originally, it would have been demolished, but thanks to different funds, the aircraft carrier opened in 1982 as a museum.

  • Metropolitan Museum of Art

    With over 2 million paintings and sculptures it is the largest museum in the world. The permanent collection, objects from antiquity to works by nearly every European master, is divided into 19 different sections.

  • Guggenheimer Museum

    The museum houses a wonderful collection of paintings from the 20th century and is located on 5th avenue. The remarkable building was designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

  • Statue of Liberty

    Also known as Lady Liberty, designed by French sculptor Bartholdi and fitted with a steel structure by Eiffel. In 1886, donated by France to the United States in honor of the Declaration of Independence and as a sign of friendship.

  • Top of the Rock

    Reopened since 2005 and literally the top of Rockefeller Center. From Top of the Rock you can enjoy a magnificent view of Central Park and the Empire State Building.

    Empire State Building

    Located at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 34th Street. This skyscraper, with its 381 meters is currently the tallest building in Manhattan. Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view from the 102nd floor!

  • Times Square

    The Square, where Broadway and 7th ave intersect in the center of the theater district. Known for its many beautiful neon signs and the many theaters that are located there. The name is derived from the newspaper "The New York Times" that used to have their headquarters here earlier.

    A huge department store, located at Herald Square, is for many people known as "shoppers paradise". Foreign tourists are entitled to receive a Macy's discount card of an extra 15% off.

    The green lung of Manhattan. This rectangular park has a total length of 4 kilometers and is for many New Yorkers the ideal way to escape the bustle of the city.
