  • Wat Ho Phra Keo

    Also known as the "Temple of the Emerald Buddha" a former royal temple at the time of the Lao monarchy. Contemporary one uses this temple as a museum with some wonderful treasures.

  • Statue of King Anouvang

    The former king played an important role in the development of Laos.

  • Patouxai

    Inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris was a triumphal arch built in the early 60's. The cement was donated by the United States to construct a new airport.

  • Xieng Khuan

    Also known as Buddha Park located 25 kilometers from Vientiane. In total more than 200 Hindu and Buddhist monuments.

  • Pha That Luang Temple

    The gold covered stupa is the most important Buddhist monument in Laos. One suggests that this was built in the 3rd century.
